Founded in 2015 by Michelle Roby, our tanning studios proudly hail from Lewiston, Idaho, and have blossomed into a franchise enterprise committed to illuminating the Gem State with unparalleled services.
Michelle Roby, a native of Lewiston, Idaho, possesses an inherent passion for the tanning industry. Her journey began in high school, where she served as a front desk receptionist at a hair salon equipped with four tanning beds. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Marketing, Michelle embarked on her professional odyssey. Following her tenure as an office manager for a construction firm, she envisioned a distinct path forward—one that materialized into Electric RAYS Tanning & Spa.
Residing in Lewiston, Idaho, Michelle assumes the role of CEO, diligently collaborating with the corporate office to ensure the continual growth and prosperity of Electric RAYS. Her unwavering ambition is to foster the growth of others, nurturing their entrepreneurial spirit. In 2024, Electric RAYS transitioned its mindset to offer franchising opportunities, empowering individuals to establish their own Electric RAYS studios from inception or acquire existing thriving locations.
